How to Attract Promising Talent

Bayer is always on the lookout for good engineers. Bayer Technology Services plays a particularly important role in this effort, as the company is the portal of entry for engineers throughout the entire Bayer Group. One of the responsibilities of the recruiting team is to convey how versatile and interesting the range of assignments at Bayer is. Arousing the enthusiasm of talented people early on is therefore a crucial task of Human Resources in the United States. Regular participation in the career fairs at selected U.S. universities is part of the job, as is identifying suitable candidates among the many interns working at Bayer every year and winning them over for the company. The HR efforts have been successful, as the three examples presented show.
